The article develops a heterogeneous cognitive model using diagnostic and expert information to assess the condition of electrical equipment. So, this model used a weighted graph with labeled vertices and chords. A method has also been developed to train a non-special cognitive model with different types of vertices using an artificial neural network to make diagnostic decisions about the states of electrical equipment. Thus, this method used a system of hierarchical rules of mixed production. A level arrangement of network vertices was proposed to build an artificial neural network, considering the inclusion of fictitious vertices.
