This chapter translates the 5P governance model into actionable strategy through the development and deployment of a new professional role: the Digital Behavioral Health Expert (DBHE). Building on the governance challenges and opportunities outlined in previous chapters, it presents the DBHE as a cross-domain integrator equipped to implement the 5P Model in systems increasingly shaped by digital platforms, AI, and nonclinical actors. The chapter introduces the DBHE’s core competencies, functions, and training pathways and proposes the creation of a global standard to institutionalize this role. By shifting the focus from institutional control to infrastructural stewardship, it offers a roadmap for sustainable, ethical, and scalable governance in behavioral health ecosystems.
