This chapter presents one of the most difficult concepts to understand in schizoanalysis: the body without organs. It begins with a dense philosophical discussion of the mutations of the concept throughout the work of Deleuze and Guattari and discusses its contributions to the theory of the technique in the clinic of schizoanalysis and schizodrama. It explores the pragmatic dimension of the concept, in which schizoanalytic schemes and a kind of typology of the different expressions of the body without organs are elaborated, namely, the body without organs, the full body, the emptied body, and the destructive body. These propositions aim to provide clues for the theory of schizoanalytic technique.
