This chapter works on the concept of becoming, which is fundamental in schizoanalysis for thinking on the processes that go beyond the logic of being. It presents a philosophical conceptualization of becoming in the work The logic of Sense (Deleuze, The logic of sense. Columbia University Press, 1969); its development in A Thousand Plateaus (Deleuze and Guattari, A thousand plateaus: Capitalism and schizophrenia. University of Minnesota Press, 1980), articulates it with contemporary phenomena such as the trans issue, music, psychedelics, and experiences of possession, and concludes by proposing some movements of becoming for the schizodramatic clinic.
