The Ten Commandments for Effective Teaching
摘要
In this chapter, I present my “Ten Commandments” for effective teaching. These reflect the responses of students and teachers in various questionnaires and interviews regarding their image of a good teacher and the classroom management techniques that they believe good teachers employ. This qualitative research was conducted in Israel over a period of 10 years. Although these commandments are numbered, the numbering is not significant, and the order is not important as, like the Ten Commandments, all are equally obligatory. However, even if only part of these commandments are followed, a special communication channel will be established between teacher and students.
