The Development of Positive Psychotherapy in Dialogue with Other Psychotherapeutic Methods
摘要
Positive Psychotherapy (PPT after Peseschkian) integrates psychodynamic, humanistic, and cognitive-behavioural thoughts into a well-structured conceptual framework in which all concepts are formulated as capacities that unfold in a lifetime process of differentiation. From the perspective of the therapeutic understanding, Positive Psychotherapy is closer to the psychodynamic schools; in terms of its structured intervention, it is closer to the cognitive-behavioural schools. The Positive Psychotherapy perspective emphasizes the importance of human resources and capacities in the psychotherapeutic intervention and underlines the importance of understanding the meaning of symptoms for solving them. In its emphasis on culture, in both theoretical reasoning and practical intervention, Positive Psychotherapy goes beyond pre-existing psychotherapeutic schools.
