Compressive Strength and Density Prediction in Micro-polymer Concrete Using Fuzzy Logic Model
摘要
This study explores fuzzy modeling and the theory of fuzzy sets to forecast compressive strength and density in polymer concrete. The fundamental benefit of fuzzy models is that they can explain information in the form of simple rules using only linguistic variables in a descriptive style that is human-like. Based on knowledge and experience, a set of rules may be quickly developed. This improves the usability of the fuzzy technique. To establish a link between the polymer concrete’s mixture variables and its measured qualities, experimental data had to be available. The results of this study demonstrated that the fuzzy logic (FL) model, which was used to forecast the compressive strength and density of concrete, had a strong capacity for generalization and prediction with acceptable errors. In these situations, the projected parameters may be obtained quickly, with little material waste and design expense, all without the need for trials, which saves time.
