This paper presents an ongoing study at a real non-profit organization that provides occupational safety and health services for healthcare and social healthcare centers. To strengthen its strategic position, the organization aims to become more data-driven and process-oriented. Digital transformation can significantly improve its services, but it may also involve a profound shift in its operations, processes and culture. This study explores the challenge of digitally improving the company through an applied action-research project focused on enterprise modeling, architecture, and IS strategic planning. Our literature review suggests that this may be the first reported case of using these tools in occupational risk prevention, offering valuable insights for similar organizations.
