In this chapter, love is approached from an embodiment perspective—an approach which makes it possible to develop and nurture cultures of well-being. Specific attention is given to psychological neoteny (extended youthfulness) as a personality structure within which love as a trait is incorporated. In sub-Saharan Africa, neoteny finds expression in a radical form of love known as ubuntu. Two performative instruments, namely, the Positivity Projective and Enactment Technique, as well as the Rebirth symbol designed by the eminent artist, Michelangelo Pistoletto, can be used to develop, cultivate, and expand cultures which are open and loving.

摘要
