Parental love can be transmitted to children through parental involvement in education. Despite the abundant studies in the area, there are inadequate studies on low-socioeconomic status (SES) parental involvement from international perspectives. The purpose of our study was to examine how low-SES parents displayed their love through parental educational involvement with primary school children despite the predicaments. We employed a systematic qualitative research examining 26 existing western and non-western studies. Results showed that low-SES parents used different strategies to show their love. The identified four themes were the following: (a) facilitated learning; (b) using support from others; (c) involved with school; and (d) cultural influence. In addition, we investigated how low-SES parents displayed their love through parental educational involvement with primary school children during Covid-19. We also found that low-SES helped each other as a subcategory. Parental love toward their children did not change during the pandemic. Our findings indicated that low-SES parents were dedicated to display love continuously as their involvement with children’s education despite the predicaments.
