The article analyzes an example of possible cooperation between a technical museum and vocational schools, specifically examining the use of the Tatra 87 exhibit in object-based teaching (OBT). The empirical part focused on a pilot study. Participants were students of the study program teaching practical subjects (N = 19). The author conducted a qualitative analysis of their proposals on using the Tatra 87 object for teaching at vocational schools. Answers were evaluated using the open coding method. Participants provided additional feedback in a subsequent group interview. It turned out that in our sample there were more creative teachers with longer experience, who are also able to design more cognitively demanding activities for students at the level of comparing, evaluating, and creating according to Bloom's taxonomy of objectives. Students of non-technical fields achieved slightly better results regarding the number and quality of proposals than representatives of technical fields. Contrary to expectations, younger students in the sample studied were not more creative in involving modern methods and new technologies.
