Design Considerations for Reliable and Cost-Effective Isolation DC–DC Converters
摘要
This chapter describes how to control semiconductor switching devices so that power converters meet design objectives. The chapter begins with regulation techniques for power converters, including fixed-frequency and variable-frequency operations. It then reviews several algorithms for implementing pulse-width modulation (PWM) and variable-frequency modulation. Next, the chapter explains how to select the commutation frequency for the chosen modulation strategy. Finally, it examines how regulation is performed, at the system level, in isolated DC–DC converters.
