In this chapter, argumentation patterns of exclusion used by religious and worldview-based communities as well as by states that contradict the justification of human rights and their universality are assessed from an ethical point of view. These argumentation patterns of exclusion are used by religious and worldview-based communities as well as states in order to deny all humans all human rights, all humans some human rights or a human right, some humans or a human all human rights, or some humans or a human some human rights or a human right. While disproving these problematic argumentation patterns of exclusion, it will be demonstrated how the universality of human rights affects religious and worldview-based communities and, thus, the state.
