Digital sovereignty is a concept usually found on the political agenda and one increasingly present in research. But can it also be seen as a desirable and quantifiable dimension in supply chain management for products and services? And if so, which factors can influence this dimension? The concepts in this paper address this topic and related issues including risks to digital sovereignty, decision support enhanced by distributed ledger technology in procurement and supply chain management for cyber-physical systems. The concepts are explored by means a scenario of a vacuum cleaner robot and a proof-of-concept software tool for integrating the concepts into procurement and management of the supply chain. An evaluation of design and implications for decision making concludes the article.
