Exhibition hall design serves as a significant medium for cultural exchange. This paper explores the application and impact of the concepts of order and disorder in metrical design within exhibition hall design. The study aims to validate the effectiveness of metrical concepts through specific design schemes, refining design philosophies, and integrating Western design elements with traditional Chinese metrical principles. This integration seeks to enhance cultural identity and confidence, improving user experience and sense of belonging. From the perspective of metrical design philosophy, the paper analyzes exhibition hall design in terms of conceptualization, methodology, and application. It investigates how metrical concepts shape user interaction and perception, elevate cultural confidence and depth, and promote the development of traditional culture. The study employs literature review and case analysis to validate the importance of ordered and disordered metrical concepts in user experience. Through the design of spatial layout, ambiance, materials, and structure, the research demonstrates the effectiveness of these concepts in enhancing user engagement and satisfaction. Specific design cases illustrate that the metrical design philosophy significantly improves user interaction experience in exhibition halls, fosters a stronger sense of identity, elevates artistic taste and cultural depth, and contributes to the advancement of traditional culture.
