Integrating Augmented Reality for Real-Time Interactive Multi-path Suturing Training System Design
摘要
Augmented Reality (AR) technology has gained traction in medical education, particularly in enhancing suturing skills. This study investigates the impact of a real-time interactive AR suturing training system on medical students’ suturing precision and efficiency. We developed an integrated system that combines virtual path guidance with hands-on practice, offering real-time feedback during procedures. A randomized controlled trial was conducted, with participants assigned to either the experimental group using the AR system or the control group receiving traditional training. Key metrics included suturing precision, operation times, and participant feedback. The results are expected to show that the AR system improves both suturing precision and efficiency, while also enhancing the learning experience. This study demonstrates the potential of AR in suturing training and serves as a reference for its application in other areas of medical education.
