Evaluation of the Implementation and Development of Agricultural Lending in Russia

The purpose of this study is to assess the effectiveness of the state program of concessional lending for agricultural producers in Russia, with an emphasis on changes in the volume and distribution of subsidies in recent years. The importance of implementing and developing agricultural lending in the Russian credit market is recognized by the state, and appropriate measures are being taken to support this industry. Agricultural lending provides farmers with access to finance, which contributes to increasing agricultural production and improving the standard of living of the rural population. The development of agricultural lending also contributes to improving the socio-economic situation of rural areas and the life of the rural population. Access to credit enables farmers and agricultural enterprises to develop their businesses, create new jobs, and contribute to the overall development of rural areas. Methods of statistical analysis and comparison were used in the study. The results established an increase in the volume of subsidies, with a particularly pronounced increase in 2022, which is associated with additional state funding. The study revealed a growing trend in lending volumes in the Stavropol Territory, which contributes to the agricultural development of in the region. The main conclusion of the study is the need to further improve the mechanisms of state support to stimulate agricultural production and minimize dependence on imports. The novelty of the work constitutes a detailed analysis of changes in the volume of concessional lending and its impact on the Russian agricultural economy, with special emphasis on the role of the Stavropol Territory as a large agricultural region.
