In this paper the authors present an assessment of climate elements and hydrological characteristics carried out in accordance with the requirements of regulatory documents, based on data from the Novorossiysk hydrometeorological station. The presented information is supplemented with archival data of the conducted research in the immediate vicinity of the northeastern part of the Black Sea in the area of the Marine Terminal water area. The aim of the paper is to conduct a study on the main meteorological elements (wind, atmospheric pressure, air temperature, humidity) and hydrological regime parameters (sea level, swell, temperature and salinity). Moreover, hydrometeorological characteristics related to the unique features of the Black Sea natural resources are studied.
