In the previous chapter, we outlined a comprehensive approach for enterprise-wide digital transformation planning. We discussed key focus areas, established the primary objectives of developing a digital transformation strategy, and identified the necessary resources, tools, and methodologies required for successful implementation. In this chapter, we shift our focus to the technical execution of a digital transformation strategy in the chemical process industry.
