This paper aims to investigate the topic of art and inference from Dewey’s perspective, using the contemporary artwork The Bots (2020–21) by Eva & Franco Mattes as a case study. The research hypothesis explores whether availability and accessibility are taken for granted in the art experience. Additionally, the work could serve as an opportunity to address pedagogical and media education issues.
