Conducted with 316 first-year students from the master’s degree course in Primary Education Sciences at the University of Palermo, the intervention used AI tools like ChatGPT to refine writing skills and enhance collaboration. A mixed-method approach revealed significant improvements in student competencies: 92% reported personalized learning benefits, and 93% noted increased collaboration. Results highlight the AI-flipped model’s effectiveness in improving academic skills, interpersonal relationships, and professional growth, offering a promising framework for modern teacher training and future research.
