Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a mental developmental problem that begins in infancy and early childhood, and there are no specific medications for the condition, which is mainly treated through behavioral interventions. If autistic children have emotional disorders, it will directly affect their social behavior, so emotional intervention becomes a key part of their education and rehabilitation. Traditional emotional intervention methods have limitations, and the electronic assistive communication (AAC) system on tablet computers has been widely used in emotional intervention due to its unique advantages. However, the application research of AAC in foreign countries is more mature than that in China, and the diversified applications face the challenges of user habit term recognition and personalized use. The purpose of this paper is to enhance the communication ability of autistic children through innovative APP applications, to explore the actual effect of tablet-based AAC system in emotional intervention, and to propose the future development direction in the field of emotional intervention for autistic children, so as to provide new methods and ideas for the enhancement of communication ability of autistic children in China.
