User Experience Study of Touch Gesture Interaction in Smart Home Interface Layout
摘要
With the digitalization of smart homes, more and more functions are integrated into the touch screen, and the gesture interaction method is gradually paid attention to. At the same time, a clear interface layout is one of the important means of improving usability. This paper discusses the feasibility of sliding and clicking interactive gestures in different interface layouts of smart homes. In this study, a 2 × 2 between-subjects experiment (N = 40) was used to investigate the influence of user experience on different interface layouts (horizontal, vertical) and touch gestures (sliding, clicking). The experimental results are as follows: (1) Horizontal and vertical interface layout has little effect on user operation performance; (2) The user’s task operation efficiency is faster with sliding gesture than clicking gesture; (3) Vertical layout is more conducive to sliding gesture operation, horizontal layout is more conducive to clicking gesture operation.
