Development and Evaluation of a Review Tool for Beginners in Learning Sign Language
摘要
For sign language learners, it is important to receive an objective evaluation of the sign language motions they have learned. This is key to both improving learning effectiveness and maintaining motivation. This paper describes a technique for developing a sign language review tool. First, the requirements for the tool and its architecture are presented. Then, data augmentation techniques are applied to ensure classification accuracy even with a small amount of data, which is important for the tool’s realization, and the results of their effectiveness are presented. A method to clearly show the differences between a sample and a specific user motion is shown. Finally, we describe how users evaluated the tool that we implemented.
