Effects of Friction and Temperature on Product Quality During the Cross-Coupling Micro-Extrusion Process
摘要
Applied in producing small parts in electrical and electronic components, automobiles and medical equipment, micro-extrusion has been attracting much attention in the manufacturing industry due to its outstanding advantages such as good durability of deformed parts, high productivity, and few scraps. To improve the shaping ability of metal and widely apply this shaping technology into actual production, the issue of product size reduction is of great concern. In this paper, some factors affecting the flow process of cross-coupling micro parts made of bronze are evaluated. These factors include friction, temperature, forming force and product shape. The result of the study is believed to improve the ability to create complex shapes in micro-extrusion process applied to production.
