This paper presents the results of application of three-dimensional (3D) scanning technology in measurement of dynamic anthropometric dimensions of the human body and pattern design of tight pants. The research results showed the initial application of three-dimensional scanning technology to measure dynamic anthropometric dimensions of the human body. Scanning conditions were specified so that scanning data of all body surfaces can be obtained in the surveyed postures. The study also revealed difficulties in achieving high measurement accuracy in some dynamic postures. The ability to integrate three-dimensional human body scan data into CLO 3D software for creating of virtual model, virtual try-on, and fit assessment was also demonstrated.

摘要
