A Bibliometric and Systematic Investigation on Hybrid Renewable Energy Systems for Sustainable Planetary Management

Global energy management difficulties pertaining to sustainability require the use of hybrid renewable energy systems. In addition to advancing technology, hybridization is a calculated move to improve sustainability and dependability. Through the synergistic combination of renewable sources, these systems address challenges related to intermittency, lower carbon emissions, and lessen their influence on the environment. This chapter investigates four different types of hybrid renewable energy systems: wind and hydrogen; hydropower and wind; photovoltaics (PVs) and solar thermal; and wind and PVs. The current research attempts to provide insights into current research trends and identify potential gaps in the field of hybrid renewable energy systems for sustainable planetary management through thorough bibliometric analysis and a methodical approach. In this regard, selected hybrid renewable energy system combinations have been analyzed using bibliometric and systematic techniques. Moreover, all keywords network visualization and overlay visualization maps have been structured for the analyzed categories using VOSviewer. These revelations may help shape future research priorities and direct legislative actions that advance sustainable energy solutions.
