Posterior Arthroscopy of Ankle and Subtalar Joints

The aim of the chapter is to explain the technique of posterior ankle arthroscopy, providing an anatomical overview of the posterior region of the ankle and the subtalar joint. It presents the current indications for posterior approaches and, above all, explains the technical details of posterior ankle and subtalar arthroscopy. We also focus on the most frequent complications of this arthroscopic technique. Finally, we give some key points of the surgical technique.
