With the acceleration of urbanization, the subway has become an important component of modern urban transportation and a key place for cultural dissemination. Traditional subway sound guidance design mainly focuses on functional guidance, lacking deep integration of regional cultural characteristics. This study explores the innovative path of guiding sound design in subway space from the perspective of regional culture, aiming to enhance passengers’ cultural identity and emotional resonance through sound design. By analyzing typical cases from Japan, Chengdu, Shanghai, and other places, combined with interdisciplinary theories such as design psychology, cultural semiotics, and acoustic engineering, this study proposes a subway sound guidance design framework based on regional culture. This framework emphasizes the extraction and translation of regional cultural symbols, the application of emotional design, and the optimization of spatial acoustics, aiming to promote the transformation of subway sound guidance design from functional to cultural and artistic. Research has shown that the design of subway sound guidance can not only enhance passengers’ travel experience, but also become an important carrier of urban cultural dissemination, promoting the recognition and inheritance of regional culture.

摘要
