This study introduces a child-centered handheld tool utilizing Augmented Reality (AR) technology to enhance children’s engagement in Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) art creation, focusing on Fengxiang clay sculpture. Through two experiments we analyzed hand-grip postures and tool preferences across three creative stages. The resulting design integrates optimized ergonomics and a Fengxiang clay color-based AR interface, merging traditional cultural elements with modern technology. User testing demonstrated significant improvements in comfort, ease of use, and engagement compared to traditional tools. This research provides a practical framework for AR-assisted ICH education, offering new pathways for cultural transmission and immersive artistic learning experiences.

摘要
