A Sample Holder to Ozonation of Biological Fluids Monitored in Real-Time by Spectroscopic
摘要
Recently, ozone has been widely used in medicine and clinical practice. The ozonation of biological fluids also requires real-time analysis due to the fast reactions involved. Thus, we develop an innovative ozone sample holder of biological fluids monitored in real-time by spectroscopy. The ozone sample holder has a simple design and is hand-assembled, with a body in stainless steel and a porous PTFE membrane as a gas diffuser. Dye and urine were ozonated and the spectra collection was based on UV-visible and Raman spectroscopy, respectively. The device requires a small sample volume and shows a good spectra signal response through the real-time fluid ozonation, and in an interesting mass transfer process.
