This study aims to adapt and improve the Moniz Game, a serious musical game designed to imitate piano training, for residents of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (RAM), Portugal. The collaborative design process involved a multidisciplinary team made up of physiotherapists and IT engineers. The study protocol included three steps: interface adjustments, music selection and initial usability assessment. Interface adjustments was based on feedback from previous studies and suggestions from the team. The songs selected for the game was based on a previous study identifying popular melodies among individuals in health centers. Volunteers participated in usability evaluations, testing the game using a piano controller and a touch screen interface. The assessment includes the use of the System Usability Scale (SUS) to measure overall usability. Preliminary results show promising usability scores, with the System Usability Scale (SUS) score indicating high usability (86.5). Future studies further should explore the impact of the Moniz Game Funchal on motor coordination in clinical populations.
