Over the last ten years, we have witnessed a major revolution in the ability of machines to copy human actions in many fields. In the last 5 years, large language models (LLMs) become able to produce analyses and understand written language at the level of normal humans. This is, of course, a huge revolution that has many applications. In this chapter, we will discuss AI and how it should be utilized by historians. This is an inevitable advance, as most researchers in other fields are already using various AI tools.
