This chapter handles the reduced LP problem, which has potential application for solving the integer LP problem. We address the search direction, the update of the face solution, and the optimality condition and formulate the reduced face algorithm in tableau and revised forms, as well as the double-phase algorithm. We also generalize the algorithm to solve the variable-bounded dual problem.
