Adaptive solutions are necessary to strengthen resilience and decrease risks, as highlighted by economic evaluations that emphasize the large economic losses associated with climate-related occurrences. In addition to stressing the value of integrated approaches to water sanitation, hygiene promotion, and disease prevention, health assessments also highlight the connections between water, climate, and public health. Agricultural research highlights the significance of sustainable agricultural practices and adaptive measures by elucidating how vulnerable rural communities are to variations in temperature extremes, precipitation patterns, and water availability. More effective management of water resources, increased water efficiency, and greater risk resistance against climate change are all made possible by technical advancements. This chapter highlights the necessity of taking coordinated action to mitigate the effects of climate change on Bangladesh’s water resources through an interdisciplinary lens. It also highlights the significance of investing in research and development, stakeholder engagement, and integrated approaches to promote sustainable water management and guarantee water security for all.
