Prioritizing Patient Rehabilitation Needs Based on the Neurological Disfunctions
摘要
With the increasing prevalence of neurological disorders, rehabilitation has become a critical aspect of medical care, particularly for patients suffering from vascular, extrapyramidal, and neuromuscular conditions. This paper aims to define the specific rehabilitation needs of these patient groups using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) technique to prioritize key requirements, highlighting the role of robotic-assisted rehabilitation in addressing these needs. Through an in-depth review of current robotic solutions, their adaptability to various neurological conditions and their potential for enhancing patient recovery are established. The paper results emphasize the need for personalized, multi-modal robotic rehabilitation systems with specific functionalities adapted to the patient needs to achieve medical efficacy in the rehabilitation treatment.
