Multi-video projection technology is becoming a growing practice in exhibition design. This paper refers to exhibitions using this technology as Immersive Video Experience Exhibitions (IVEE), where visitors are surrounded by projection walls in an enclosed space. This study explores the visitor experience of IVEE by analyzing video posts on TikTok related to IVEE and comparing them with posts on traditional exhibitions. Video posts about the “Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience” and “Crown to Couture” exhibitions were collected and analyzed using visual content analysis, focusing on shooting subjects, composition, and visitor postures. The results indicate that visitors in IVEE tend to capture shots that include other visitors, reflecting a trend of shared environments and collective interaction. In contrast, visitors in traditional exhibitions focus more on photographing the exhibits. Additionally, visitors in immersive environments emphasize their close connection with the surroundings, demonstrating a stronger sense of presence. Finally, this paper discusses the dual role of social media in IVEE, serving as both a platform for recording and sharing, and a space for interaction and feedback, thereby enhancing the shared experience of IVEE.
