This study aims to investigate the relationship between individuals’ perceptions of Financial Education and Environmental Education. It is a quantitative, descriptive research, with data collection carried out through the instrument developed by Couto et al. (Adm Ensino Pesquisa 23(3):510–534, 2022 [12]). The sample will consist of undergraduate students from the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG), Brazil, with the aim of analysing the correlation and behaviour of the variables within the sample. Considering that the topic of sustainability has been garnering the interest of numerous researchers and professionals from private and governmental organisations, and the scarcity of studies exploring the relationship between sustainable development and financial education, especially in its environmental dimension, the results of this research contribute to encouraging educational policies that promote the integration of financial and environmental dimensions. This aims to prepare future leaders to face the challenges of economic and environmental sustainability. Such integration will benefit not only the students but also have a positive impact on organisations and society, promoting a more balanced and sustainable future.
