Coffee and Well-being
摘要
This chapter discusses the relationship between coffee consumption and perceived well-being. First, we address the concept of well-being and the factors influencing it. We provide a brief biochemical description of coffee and an overview of its historical usage by individuals and societies. Subsequently, we focus on the associations between coffee consumption and experienced well-being. While some aspects of this relationship are clearly positive, others are negative, and many remain unexplored. Our analysis suggests that the link between coffee consumption and perceived well-being is highly individualized, with coffee playing a significant role in acquiring relational resources.
