Detrimental Effect of Groundwater Arsenic on Human Health
摘要
Arsenic has no taste, color and odor and thus difficult to assess. It is linked to risks to the public’s health, which tends to become chronic after drinking contaminated water. These effects can range from cancer to skin manifestations. Groundwater arsenic contamination might also be found due to the end result of mining, agricultural, and industrial processes. The water courses system is impacted by the dumping of mineral waste, which is a major environmental hazard for people who reside in agricultural areas pesticides containing arsenic were previously used. High levels of arsenic in various sources have been posing a major health risk. Ground water arsenic contamination induces the death rate nowadays. A study on the geochemical properties of water supply systems may lead to the biogeochemical mechanisms governing the mobility of arsenic through precisely defined inputs of arsenic. Arsenic remediation methods lead several roles in the realm of arsenic contamination in groundwater.
