Biosynthesized Nanoparticles: A Sustainable Approach for Heavy Metal Remediation in Environmental Systems and Ecotoxicity Assessment
摘要
The growing threat of heavy metal pollution in environmental systems calls for innovative and persistent remediation strategies. As a way to solve this pressing issue, biosynthesized nanoparticles offer a potential and environmentally beneficial option. The most recent advancements in the application of biosynthesized nanoparticles for heavy metal cleanup are thoroughly reviewed in this paper. The study highlights the fundamental concepts of biosynthesis and highlights the important roles that various biological entities—plants and microorganisms—play in the formation of nanoparticles. Because biosynthesis doesn’t harm the environment, it offers a viable substitute for traditional techniques that uses a lot less energy and dangerous chemicals.
