In order to investigate the impact of network throughput on sustainable communication in wireless sensor networks (WSNs), this research uses simulation-based analysis, with a particular focus on bursty, continuous, and randomized traffic scenarios. Utilizing Jain’s Fairness Index for quantitative assessment, the research unveils distinctive features within each scenario. Bursty traffic manifests dynamic peaks and valleys, while continuous traffic presents stability, and randomized throughput introduces unpredictability. Emphasizing the significance of tailored network management strategies, the study advocates for optimal resource allocation in WSNs. The insights gained hold relevance for sustainable development applications, particularly in environmental monitoring and management. The research contributes to the ongoing discourse on fostering fair and efficient network communication to advance environmental sustainability objectives.

摘要
