The drug trafficking is a serious concern for the narcotics and police department. The rise and spread of the new technologies especially the Dark Web and internet technologies provide the issues like illegal distribution of drugs over the internet. In India it has become a burning issue as addiction of drugs in increasing with the advancement of the internet technologies. This paper represents the conventional as well as AI and ML based techniques to investigate the websites over the dark web that supply drugs. The software model to detect these websites over the dark web brings the fast analysis and identification of the drug chain system over the internet.
