Innovative Approaches to Sustainable Brick Production: Incorporating Plastic Waste for Soil Replacement

This study explores innovative methods for enhancing the sustainability of brick production by incorporating plastic waste as a partial replacement for soil. With growing concerns over environmental degradation and plastic pollution, finding alternative uses for plastic waste has become imperative. By integrating plastic waste into brick manufacturing processes, this research aims to reduce the reliance on natural resources, mitigate plastic pollution, and promote eco-friendly construction practices. Through laboratory experiments and material testing, the feasibility and efficacy of utilizing plastic waste in brick production are assessed. The study evaluates the mechanical properties, durability, and environmental impacts of plastic-infused bricks compared to traditional bricks. Results indicate promising outcomes, suggesting that incorporating plastic waste can contribute to sustainable construction practices while addressing plastic pollution challenges. This research provides valuable insights into innovative approaches for achieving sustainability in the construction industry.
