Automatic Regulation of Voltage Using ANN, ANFIS, and Fuzzy Logic Controller Approaches

A voltage regulator for synchronous generators that runs automatically. It is utilized by every electrical equipment that requires stabilization and regulation. An electrical device that automatically regulates the AVR’s generated the terminal voltage output to maintain it at a certain level whether there is variation in the load. AVR is widely utilized in power systems since it’s important to produce appropriate consistency and accurately regulate diverse devices. However, AVR should be used with any suitable controller to get beyond sluggish response times brought on by disturbances, as this will result in effective stability. In order to demonstrate increasing time, undershoot, and overshoot in accordance alongside another study report assessments, this study examines (PID) proportional integral derivative Controllers. This article describes the adaptive neuro-fuzzy interference system (ANFIS), which blends artificial neural networks (ANN) and fuzzy interference. To ensure that enhance the simulation result of the controller, we investigate Automatic voltage regulation (AVR) in this study employing several techniques.
