Tribological studies were conducted on lubricating oil containing Molybdenum Disulphide MoS2, Tungsten Disulfide WS2, Zinc Dialkyldithiophosphate ZDDP particles, and their combined influence to investigate the ointment’s tribological performance. In this review, eleven combinations of mineral oil and additional chemicals were investigated. To achieve homogenous blending, it is blended beautifully over an appealing stirrer while maintaining a constant temperature. The four Ball Wear design might be used to calculate the wear scar properties and mineral oil’s coefficient of grating. In addition, the H mix had a much lower coefficient of grating and wear scar breadth as compared to the reference lubricating oil (SAE 15W40). In the Four Ball Wear test, ASTM D-4172 requires that a steel ball be rotated against three fixed steel balls that have been lubricated at a standard speed, force, duration and temperature. A thorough examination of these parameters indicates that SAE 15W40 mineral oils with specific additives, particularly H sample, can provide better lubricating performance than standard mineral oils.

摘要
