Artificial Intelligence has significantly transformed Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), enabling more adaptive, intuitive, and personalized user experiences. Traditional HCI frameworks relied on rule-based systems, but AI-driven approaches integrate dynamic learning, natural language processing, and emotion recognition to enhance user interaction. This paper explores AI’s role in HCI across four key dimensions: AI in user interaction, AI-driven emotional recognition, ethical considerations, and future directions. While AI enhances usability and accessibility, challenges such as bias, data privacy, and ethical transparency must be addressed to ensure responsible implementation. By examining current advancements and potential future trajectories, this study provides insights into the evolving relationship between AI and HCI, emphasizing the need for ethical and user-centric AI development.
