Richard Arena[aut]Arena, Richard was much supportive to the development of economic sociology all along his long and productive academic career. As a personal recollection, I remember that he encouraged me when, as a young economist specialized in the history of economic thoughtHistory of economic thought (HoET), I began to deal with economic sociology in the last decade of the previous century. His interest in that new domain did not weaken then after, so I am pleased to present some few ideas related to the connection between the economic theory of information and the economic sociology of marketMarket(s).
