Measuring Corporate Reputation
摘要
This chapter examines the measurement of corporate reputation, a critical yet challenging task due to its intangible and perception-based nature. While previous chapters have explored corporate reputation’s definition, determinants, and outcomes, this chapter highlights the necessity of establishing reliable and valid measurement methods. Drawing on existing literature, it identifies four primary approaches: structured questionnaires, rankings and ratings, third-party indices, and media coverage. Each method presents distinct strengths and limitations, varying in applicability depending on the stakeholder group under consideration. The chapter further discusses emerging trends, including the use of CEO reputation as a proxy for corporate reputation.
