As industry moves towards smarter and more connected processes, the need for efficient and secure implementation of safety information and product lifecycle information on manufacturing machines, industrial robots and in this representational use case a modular manipulator, becomes increasingly important. The article lights up the development of a safety passport tailored to manufacturing machines across their entire life cycle. Inspired by the digital product passports our conceptual framework explores the integration of such a safety passport on certified production machines throughout their lifetime. The research emphasizes the importance of aligning the safety passport with existing development processes and presents a comprehensive approach to seamlessly integrate safety aspects from design implementation, production, usage, maintenance and dismantling. Case studies and stakeholder insights are considered and provide a real-world context, highlighting successful implementations and potential challenges. 摘要

It concludes by recommending strategies for implementation beginning in the engineering department and outlining avenues for future research to continuously refine and optimize security passport systems.
